I hope someone tells me if, and if possible, how, this can be fixed. I mainly use the 32inch for gaming on my consoles, but I switch to it when I need the extra desktop space when I'm working.
It has worked perfectly in both XP and Vista, but not Windows 7. I've tried various divers, both the latests and older versions, but no changes.

So at the moment I can either run my main screen at full 1680x1050 and my second screen at 1280x720, or I can only run my second screen at 1920x1080 and not run my main monitor at all. I've even tried changing the DVI cable that goes to my main monitor to a VGA cable with converter piece, but I still can't detect it. I tried the switched ports thing with both the VGA and the HDMI cable.

When setup that way, the PC instantly sees the TV for a HDTV and sets it at 1920x1080, however, it no longer detects my 22inch monitor at all.
After that, I switched the cables on the back of the video card. Then I tried using a DVI to HDMI converter with a HDMI cable connecting it to the TV, but it's the same problem. I could add the 1920x1080 option by choosing "unsupported" resolutions, both at 50Hz and 60Hz, but setting the resolution to either of those options just sets it to 1600x1200 yet again. Changeing the resolution inside NVidia Control Panel doesn't work either. This is also the only display option that's 16:9 and actually works. The only resolution that matches the resolution I set with the resolution the TV displays is 1280x720. When I try to set it to 1600x900, which I assume should give a proper 16:9 image, the TV claims it does not support that resolution. When I try other resolutions, the TV just displays various other resolutions, often with the wrong aspect ratio too. Ever since I installed Windows 7, I cannot set it higher than 1600x1200, a resolution it should not even support. I have this hooked up by a converter thingiej that makes it go from DVI to VGA, and then via VGA to the TV. My 2nd screen is a 32inch LG Lh5000, a HDTV. The video card I'm using is an NVidia 8600GT which has 2 DVI ports.

However, I cannot set my 2nd monitor to it's full resolution since installing 64bit Windows 7 Professional. Press OK.Hi, I'm running a dual monitor setup, which worked perfectly in both XP and in Vista. You will be prompted to KEEP SETTING (or you can cancel the changes). The HD Mode wizard enables you to check that the TV can display HD content properly. If you select an HD setting (720p, 1080i, or 1080p) and then click CCONTINUE, the HD Mode wizard appears. If you click Cancel changes, the change is not made, and you go back to the SETTINGS menu. If you select an SD mode setting (either 4:3 SD or Widescreen SD), and then click CONTINUE, the change is made, and you go back to the SETTINGS menu.
